does Okkervil actually read what we write?

I've been reading some of the posts on this site and there are some interesting and weird things people say... amusing. I just wonder if Will, Pat, Cully, Lauren, and Justin actually read what we write... I wonder what they think about what we have to say... I mean, they're just normal people like all of us... maybe the only thing that separates them from us is their daring to put their creativity out for all of us to love, hate, praise, and scrutinize. I mean, we all have it in us to create our own sound, our own mark, our own legacy. but most of us give up on ourselves long before we have realized our full potential. Okkervil River has changed over the years, but always has maintained an energy that persists in morphing into exactly what the context of the situation calls for. don't you guys think that with each album, each new song, they connect to something you can relate to? even though "I Am Very Far" has a different kind of a sound - I guess - than their past albums, I think the sounds, the images, the poetry created connects with ideas so regular, but that exasperate, delight, perplex, and excite us all. Personally, it would enchant me if Okkervil read what we had to say - and occasionally write back too. I would hope they would know that at least this fan appreciates their creative flow... and i guess for now (wink, wink) I love what they do and say. And for posterity...please come back to Chapel Hill... or Cleveland... or NYC ... really anywhere EAST! Can't wait to see them again!
