Don't know him as a person, but love him as a musician. Not the boring She & Him stuff, but when he does his own music. Not that he's anywhere near as good as Okkervil, but he's still good. Heck of a guitar player.

I used to see Matt all the time here in Oregon, because he is such a great guitarist to watch. I enjoy watching him perform as much as the music itself. I could appreciate the She & Him stuff when it first came out, but it hasn't had a lasting effect. That' s ok, though, not everything is meant to be timeless.
