So...heard the new album last night. LIVE!!!

The band played a surprise(y) show at the Scoot Inn last night in Austin. There were about 300 people there. They played the entire new album live for the first time punctuated by old classics. The new record is going to be amazing. It is a rocker for sure, more guitar driven than other albums, at least live. Lauren has a killer solo on one of the songs, for being the first show and first time to play these songs live they were on it. Sounded great. They were walking around just chatting it up with everybody before and after, my wife tried to convince Will to write a song about her dad . Incredible night. Im still drunk. Ears are still buzzing. Still smiling. May 10th cant be here soon enough!
